I find anything above the
tree-line absolutely fascinating
and have been returning there for                                                                         
years. It's the combination of the
unique and stark contrast that
stimulates me.

Besides seeing the grander
scale these wild and open
spaces have also taught
me to explore the more
subtle nuances of form
and texture. To capture
these finer details I use
 a 4 x 5 view camera.
This slow methodical
approach allows me
to pay attention to
content and composition.

Without the use of filters
for colour enhancement
the final image is a true
representation of my
vision.
